About Haitian Vodou & Tarot
A Practice Rooted in Healing, Ancestry, and Guidance

Haitian Vodou is often misunderstood due to decades of misinformation, sensationalism, and media portrayals rooted in colonial fear rather than truth. In reality, Haitian Vodou is a deeply spiritual, ancestral religion centered on balance, healing, community, and connection to the divine.
Vodou is not about harm, curses, or control. It is a sacred tradition that honors ancestors, nature, and spiritual forces that guide us toward harmony in our lives.

Addressing Common Misconceptions
Many stereotypes surrounding Vodou come from movies and misinformation rather than lived practice. These portrayals often erase the religion’s cultural roots and spiritual depth.
In truth:
Vodou rituals are acts of devotion, grounding, and gratitude
Spiritual work emphasizes personal responsibility and ethical practice
There is no focus on coercion, fear, or domination over others
Community and respect are central values
Haitian Vodou is about restoring harmony, not disrupting it.
